Rebecca Werner grew up dancing around the house in Ossining, NY.  At the age of 7, she began dancing at Sleepy Hollow Performing Arts Center, where she trained in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and modern. She

also trained in singing and acting.  As a company member of SHPAC for 11 years, she performed in annual productions, street fairs, special events  and fundraisers. She attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts and recently graduated with a BFA in Drama. Rebecca studied at the Meisner Studio, Commedia dell'Arte in Florence, Italy, and Stonestreet Studios. She has continued her training at The American Mime Theatre, Funny School of Good Acting, and Upright Citizens Brigade.

In 2003, Rebecca traveled with SHPAC to Sassinoro, Italy for 3 weeks, participating in a cultural exchange. She performed first with the traveling company, and then together with the local Italians. It was this

experience that ignited Rebecca's passions for Italy and Italian Culture. Rebecca enjoys being involved in a creative environment. When she is not performing, she works behind the scenes assisting other productions.
